He
probably passed away last night.
He did not report to work today.
His office was concerned and called our city Police
Department.
A check was done at his residence and he was found peacefully passed
in his chair probably watching TV. He was always a gentleman
first to those who were honored to know him and call him friend and
a dam good politician to be respected second. He was a man
who's wisdom helped many including us. He will be missed. He
was the type of person who would give his shirt off his back if he
thought you needed it.

always encourage candidates to campaign one-on-one with the voters
where they live,"
As

pro tem of Desert Hot Springs and vice chair of the county's
Democratic Party, with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his service
to the Coachella Valley, which included his advocacy for the

residents bring concerns to us, it's important that we look into
them fully."
"Any
time you are able to offer more things not only to your own
residents, but drawing others to our own community and spending more
hours in our community is a positive for our community."
"There
will never be an easy race when it comes to going up against Mary."
Reception
sponsors include Cathedral City Mayor Pro Tem Greg Pettis, Desert
Hot Springs City Councilman Gary Bosworth and Palm Springs City
Councilmembers Steve Pougnet and Ginny Foat.
He
has a 40-plus-hour-a-week job, spends time every day on city work as
a council member, and then spends his "extra time" in
committees and meetings working for the common good (author unknown)
...to
Desert Hot Springs City Council Member Gary Bosworth for his aid in
