Spa
Resort with more...and nothing at all |
|
. Clothing optional has become a marketing trend in upscale resorts
popping up across
America
. For a growing number of resort goers, the option of checking their
clothes at the door has become an attractive way to relax and
retreat.
Nestled in the hills of the desert community of Desert
Hot Springs, California and overlooking the
Coachella
Valley
and Palm Springs
is Living
Waters Spa that has served the clothing optional market
for over six years. By giving its guests the option to stay nude, it
is thriving while other area hotels have been pounded by financially
challenging times.
The city itself is renowned for several world class spa boutique
motels that take full advantage of curative hot mineral waters
delivered courtesy of a unique geological formation and the
San Andreas Fault.

The
Living Waters Spa tapped into that
mineral water and at the same time it set a trend when it
became the first in the city to go clothing optional. That trend has
been followed by other resorts in the valley floor cities but none
offer the views or the natural mineral waters found at Living
Waters.
|
Living
Waters offers more, including the option to check in with
nothing at all |
|
It bills itself as “more than a vacation.” Its facility is
completely private. Says the hotel’s website, “You are
encouraged to soak in our mineral waters au naturel and enjoy this
total immersion in nature. For generations Europeans have visited
clothing optional spas and sunbathed nude. Americans are now
realizing how relaxing nude recreation can be.”
|
|
With the highest repeat guest visits of hotels in the area, Living
Waters has obviously convinced them.
Living
Waters has two hot water mineral pools, one under a covered awning
and another open to the desert sky in a city that delivers an
amazing 335 days of cloud free sun. The views from Living Water’s
decks of
Mt.
San Jacinto
and the lights of the
Palm Springs
at night are spectacular.
